Im short and I went out and bought a yz 125 today. It is an awsome bike and it hauls but I have one problem. I can barly stand there with out falling over because im on the very tip of my tippy toes. I know you can lower it but how do you lower it?

Thanks
Jello

if you can just tuch your tippy toes then that is just the right size for you. you will grow into it. if you have to lower it then that is fine.

NO, dont set it like that. It will mess up all your settings. Shave the seat foam if its to tall. How much did you pay for it?

why will it screw up my settings cant i just take the sag out as I grow? I dont want to cut the seat foam because I need like an inch off so I will feel more comfortable.

Thanks

Set your sag, and slide your forks up some in the tripple clamps. Make sure you use a torque wrench wen re-tightening. I also use a depth micrometer to make sure they are even, or very, very close. Look up the torque specs in your owners manual.

we changed the sag on the rear shock I can now tough on my toes and the first part of my foot which is perfect for now. (im 16 so Im still growing). We tried to do the forks but couldnt get them to move. The shop I bought it at brand new:D will probally do it all for me if i take it in tomorrow. I just wanted to go riding ;) O yeah in arizona I ended up paying like 5500 out the door. I am very happy with it. It hauls. It is no where like my friends yz 250 but I like it better.

Thanks
