i was thinking about the 350x-250x conversion and was wondering if 400ex shocks would work on the 250x a-arms? if not i guess 400ex a-arms and shocks might work. would i need to replace the rear shock also maybe just stiffen it?

do u think when the new honda comes out the price of the 400ex(used and new) will go down a lot? i was hoping it would come out and the 400ex would be cheaper to buy b/c of people selling theres

The 350X swingarm and shock work great....the 400ex front end does not work well.

would the 250x front end work good if the shocks were upgraded?

The problem is not the shocks, it mounting the 400ex arms on a 300ex.

Jeff I think the question was. If he upgrade the stock shocks on the 250x will it be up to the job of handling the extra wait of the conversion. It will be better than stock by far but you are still limited by the amount of travel that the 250x from end has. just wait and get a 400ex:D

yeah i think i would be better off waiting and buying a 400ex b/c the prices are going down on used ones and if the new honda comes out it might make the 400ex's price go down even more
