Rented out FOX Raceway

I rented out fox raceway about 2 weeks ago, great track big jumps, and some technical sections!!!!!!! I payed $250 bucks for the whole day and it was well worth it. You get to do things you normaly cant........Like praticing specific sections and jumps! The biggest jump there was probly 70ft triple right out of a turn. I have a built 250r and it couldent even pull the double!!!!

yea, we rode for about 8hrs then you get so tired you can ride anymore so i think it was worth it!

how many guys did you split it with? $250 is not bad at all...still a chunk of money tho

the track is by our cabin in Cooks Forest PA the town is called Clarigton! ummmmm.......me and my friend split it half and half and had a great time. We were the first people to rent out the track actully! I guess its pretty new

Fox Raceway has been there several years now...it was also featured in H3 the section called Diver Down....they just recently redid the track and has new owners.....you can come down and rent our track for 200 bucks if i remember correctly for the day

i was saying we were the first to rent it our fromt he new owners......they told use they bought that track for 5 million!!!!

I say we get some riders together, rent it out, and have an all quad day. Hell if you get 10 people to go, its only 20 bucks. Most tracks around here are at $15 to practice and they are usually crowded. Any one in???

2R's seeing how you are in Pa and I in Ohio. You want to start putting it together? We could have a blast.. Do they allow camping? This could get pretty big..:) Need to start a new thread when someone gets some info. Or the fella that already rented it out can put it together..

I would nt the time to do it ..I think Dana is the one that outta do it ...how about it???

sure.....i dont know if they let you camp out or not....and its for $250 for 5 people more then that its more.....so lets get 10 people to go witch would be $500 thats 50 bucks a person!!!!!! but im not sure if i can go! if you want ill give you there number and you can call them and work it our 1 (814)677-3256

I know at tracks around here if you have more than than I think 10 people you have to have an ambulance there.$$$$

Around here you only need an ambulance if its a race not practice.

I called them but got the machine. I left my number so we will see what they say about a bunch of us coming in for a day.

Well I'd try and go! Its not too far away from me. I havn't been to any other track but Rausch, I want to expand my horizons a little! :D

Fox is just down the road from the Marienville ATV and Bike trails in the Allegheny National Forest. It is about 15-20 minutes from my house. Nice place. I haven't seen the new layout but last years was pretty nice.

You have passed it everytime you have driven up to ride with me and Vito. It is just before you get into Marienville. Sounds like we could make it a weekend with MX one day and Trails the next. I don't normally do MX but heck I can come out and hit a jump or two so you guys have someone to laugh at.

Things are going well around here. The little one is growing like a weed. He's only a year and two months but looks like he's between 2 & 3. He's a house for his age. Not fat just big. Wife's doing good. How bout your way? Hope all's well.

You guys go ahead and set the dates up and I'll try to get the days off. Things have been very tight at work due to being a couple guys down. And all the idiots have been in full swing. So I may or may not be able to make it. Maybe I'll try to be on midnighters so I could come out during the afternoon and ride with you guys.

Keep me posted on the status of the event.

Heres the deal, I talked to her today..

1-5 riders $250
6-10 $350
11-15 $450
16-20 $500 No more than 20 riders aloud..


Anyday is good except mondays and wensdays.
Ride from 9-5
Camping is available the night before FREE of charge
Primitive camping, only a porta potty ..

We just have to set a date let her know when we are coming, and give her the money then. No money collected before..

I work for myself so pretty much anytime is good as long as I have some notice. I would assume it will be a weekend.. When is the Ruasch ride? And the next Hatfield ride? I am going to Hatfield with the Pa boys mid september, not sure on a day yet. It would be nice to have it 3rd or 4th weekend in August. Give everyone time to schedule to go.. What do you think?

theres 5 weekends in august...

rausch is the 2nd weekend... 9th and 10th...

i think the 4th weekend would probably be the best and heres why...

its 2 weeks after the rausch ride... time to recover and the younger kids to build up funds again to pay for it...

and if we go any later we have to worry about SCHOOL!!!!!!! we start at the end of august the week between the 4th and 5th weekends...

the 4th weekend would be perfect for all kids that wanna go...

fox raceway USE to an awesome track we use to go every weekend that they had a race... i meet alot of awesome ppl there and if you werent there before 3 on nite races and 7 on sundays you were f**ked and werent goin to find a parking place... but now since these new owers over took it has gone down hill and only like 20 to 30 bikes show up a race it's diff. has turned around in the past year and it's a bike track not a quad track... a few of my national friends who are locals to that track showed up for the first race went out for practice and then packed up and went home they said the track was way to dangours for them to race on it.... Dana sold it to the guy who owns it now out from under Hetricks and Hinds who had the money to buy it..... I dunno i just think you guys should look else where were it might be more quad friendly then a track that is dirt friendly that's just my 2 cents

Tiff, thats funny you mentioned that. When I talked to them on friday she said that since they took it over, they havent had 1 quad show up to race. And just like you said only about 20-30 bikes.. Hmmmm.

i can back up mxcuties comments...they have really changed it since last year and lets just say....RC would love the track...its more like a indoor supercross now. guys we have tried to get a "exriders" ride going couple times now....hondaracer31 has put in a thread while back trying to set up a ride at our local track which is now quad friendly and alot cheaper. i will see if i can find that post again....

ok found the latest thread for this..... http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=61708 there was another one which started it way back in Jan of this year that led to the thread above up to the point where hondaracer31 crashed and burned.....he is back together and riding i was at his house sunday at his track so i think he is ready..... read the thread, it happends to mention free for a cost on the sat. and then there is our normal open practice on sunday for 15 bucks...... we can ride pretty much from morning till dark camping free and porta johns on site. if your Fox Ride doesnt work out let either myself or hondaracer31 know and we can set another date.
