I have a 02' 400 ex I ordered a hmf slip on, k&n w/outerwear, 155 main jet, and 40 pilot. Should I run with the air box lid off or just drill a few holes in it. I am around 550 ft. above sea level. Any suggestions.

keep it on i think cuz got the same setup as u do and i drilled 5 1'' holes and put uni airbox vents in there and it runs good. U might be a lil lean. The site calls for 175 main jet, 3.5 turns out on the air/fuel screw, and the stock needle all the way up (lower Clip) and mine runs pretty good.
