anti-popups question

what is a good program to kill popups? what do some of you guys (and gals) use? oh, and be so kind to give me the password so i don't have to pay for it!:D ( worth a try:rolleyes: )

Go to lavasoft's website and download Ad-aware 6.0 (or a newer version if there is one). I run this about once a week and pop-ups are rare for me. The best part is with 6.0 is an update button. Everytime Lavasoft updates their files you can automatically download the updates and scan for new pop-up files on your PC. It works great and is free already.

I went to www.panicware.com and downloaded their FREE pop up stopper..works wonders, no more pop ups at all. Have had it loaded for a while now..love it.

I use both. They do two different things. Lavasoft's Ad-Aware is an anti-spyware program and it works great. Panicware's Popup Stopper works pretty well, but still lets a few slip by (hey, it's free). It's got these cool sounds everytime it blocks a popup.
