As most of you know, I'm selling the EX because of my loss of riding areas and no riding partners. Wonder what I could replace the EX with:eek:

The Vette is a compromise. It's my wife's favorite car and is what she would want if she could buy any car on the planet:huh If it were up to me I'd be getting this. But, a fun car to cruise in is more practical than a bike. I'd love to have the new 999 sitting in my garage though.

If you took a leadership/management position, you might end up regretting it. Your buddies you worked with, will most likey no longer be your buddies. That's the only way I could think that you could increase your current pay THAT much.

But congradulations anyhow. The old 998 is a much better looking bike too.

Aprillia's are pretty nice because there twins.

The Augusta is a bit much for a STREETBIKE. Very track oriented.

Can it be driven on the street, of course. But the power is mostly in the upper RPM's and the bike is heavy for a 750.

The Ducati is the same deal. Although lighter.

Do you even know how to ride or do you just like to cruise?

You should check out a older 600 if your new to the sport.

Besides valve adjustments on the Duc are every 6k miles. They don't have valve springs. the valve is left and closing is operated solely by the cam.

They are a bit costly in upkeep.

BIKES Turn, not just ride wheelies.

anyhow, good luck and get a KNEE down!

The streetbike is just a "it would be nice to have but..." type scenario. I've had 2 friends killed on bikes. One was his fault (running from the cops) and the other had an old lady pull out in front of him and kill him. Those are the 2 deaths that I know of. I've had 3 other friends lay their's down by no fault of their own. One woman put her left turn signal on and started to make the turn. As she was about 2/3 of the way through the turn she decides she wanted to go right instead of left. My buddy, who was in the right-hand lane, had this woman cut right in front of him. He tried to throw the anchor out and get it stopped but still clipped the rearend of her car and sent him over the bars. Another was just riding by himself through our mall and they had just paved the road earlier that day. He was going straight at about 30mph and hit a spot where oil was coming up out of the road. His front wheel folded under and he went sliding into the curb. The 3rd friend had an old man run a redlight and he had to lay it down to avoid T-boning him. The US streets are just too unsafe IMO to really have fun on a bike.

Yes, I have ridden though. I've been on ZX-6's, TL1000R's, ZX-7's, Buell's, ZX12's, Gixxer's, and even an Intruder:) Now my name's not Troy Bayliss but I feel I can comfortably get on a bike and go ride. If I were to get a bike in reality it would probably be either a Yamaha Road Star Warrior or the V-Max.

K2SNOW :p LOL I was just playin' bro!
Looks like you and shorty are quite happy though! "pinches your cheek " awwwww :D

Do you drive K2 Dub, or is that just your sig? Dubs are sweet dude!

YZROOSTINYA Nice clean FZR man!!! I like the looks of those a lot, not the fastest bikes but they are sweet. Just like the RF 600's and that special edition 900 they had "RF"

Why did ya sell your R-6? Insurance put an end to that?! My record is CLEAN "now anyways hahaha" but I STILL cant get a good rate for a sport bike!! My younger friends guys and girls have ebtter rates!!! thats garbage!!

Dude who wanted a bike...just get the hottest looking bike for YOU, who cares bout how it rides, if you like the look and feel buy it. YEah the Italian bikes are slower and heavier then the Jap ones but they dont look half as good.... For cruisin anything works as long as YOU like it. I would be happy on a GS500, but would rather have an Aprillia. If you can afford it do it. You cant take it with you after your flesh dies anyways, enjoy it now if your able, but dont spread your finances too thin doing it thats all. :)

K2SNOW, yeah K2 is a brand, Volkswagon "VW= Dub it's slang" had a special edition car called teh K2 model it came with a roof rack for snowboards and ski's that came with.

Wow if's she is bending over you are short! I am 5'9" I thought I was short! Who cares though, height is just that.

Get this, its a cool little bike . Yamaha YSR, I just sold it a few months back. It was a 1991 with 47 original miles when I sold it!!!

K2Snow

Yea, I'm only 5'3'', and she is like 5'6''. Being short sucks, except it's great if you're a wrestler. Nobody could get to my legs, God knows how many tournies I palced top 3 in cause my height ;) I wanna get a GSXR600. I know they can be lowered a lot. In fact, i recently heard of a girl getting her suzuki lowered and she rides it perfect and she is only 5'1''

Either a C5 as described above or a late-60's Stingray. My grandmother has an original '68 327 4-speed Corvette with 42,000 miles on it but she'll never sell it to me. I love the late-60's because I though the body lines were excellent but it's tough to beat the today's technology where you can run the air conditioning, be blasting down the highway at 75mph and still get 22mpg:)

you need lowering dog bones and you can shave the seat foam. Also wear taller heeled boots.

I wouldn't suggest a GSXR 600 for a first bike

If your getting a vette, get a real vette. Make sure you check the Z06 option.
