k, i have stock rims with after market tires, and they keep on comming off the rims...
stock size is for rear is 10-9.
i purchased 10-8 itp rims. are these a better size??? do i have more options with tires????
thx
The diameter of the tire and rim have to match to work. You are alllowed some leeway in the other measurments, width and heigth.
For example: stock tires are 20x10x9
20=overall height
10=tread width
9=bead diameter
Stock rims are 9x8
9=diameter
8=width
What size tires do you have?
I'm guessing the beads weren't set correctly when they were mounted on the stock rims:ermm: Depending on the tire I think they need to have about 30 to 40 pounds of pressure to seat. It should say on the sidewall.
