oil coming out of the head

i have oil coming out of the head on my 250x. how do you tell if it is the gasket or not? the oil sits on the ridges on the head so i am not sure of where it is coming from. any ideas would be helpful

degrease it then look again

yep - clean it really well, especially at the seal - run it to let the oil get warm so it seeps, and see where it's coming out. I had a leak that was actually from one of my headbolts.......I thought it was the gasket, too, until I did this......good luck!
