starter troubbles

alright so i hit start ihear "click" from the solenoid. so i take a screw drive and touch the positive and negative sides on the solenoid and the starter starts spinning but the motor doenst try to turn over. i posted a small clip of what its doing. so after i do this i put it back together and i hit start, and no "click" the starter spins again. so i hit start again.. i get the "click" again. any ideas?

There is somehting that pushes a gear to meat another gear to turnt he engine over, maby it's stuck so that it can't move?:confused: It happens on cars, but I've never had any troubles or seen the inside of an EX starter.

there is a gear behind flywheel its either dirty or worn out. my 300 is doing the same thing right now pull the case off and try to get the flywheel off. i cant:ermm:
