Since the original thread is 11 pages now...I figured I would save myself the effort of going through all the posts and seeing how many we have coming.

Please reply if you are coming and how many others are coming with you.

I will post the directions again here:

"Here are directions to my shop: It is exit 17 off 495. Coming from 495 north you will take a left off the exit ramp on Rt 140 North. You will follow that straight through 2 sets of lights for a mile off the exit and you will see a small sign on your left in front of a red house for WSO Custom Powder Coating. Pull in that driveway and I will show you guys where to unload.

I was thinking we could all meet at noon and if each person brings some food for the grill or other snacks.

Killed..where in NH are you coming from? Should not be much more than a 2 hr drive. Took me 2:15 to drive up to Meredith for bike week from my shop.

As for the trails, there are over 80 miles of trails we could cover, hope you bring some extra gas. I know several people want me to take them to an old abandoned airport so they can do some drags. Most of the ride consists of tight trails to old railroad beds and powerlines. All up to you :ermm:

We alll know where we live...wait a few minutes and the weather will change. I know I am going rain or shine...actually a bit of rain would be great to keep the dust to a minimum.

The only way I wont head out is if it is pouring like Vietnam

Im in and Eric's quad is good to rip. Of course Tims gonna go too, so thats 3 more. I may let my friend ride my shee if he wants so maybe 4!
I put some time on my new sled and I think i'll keep it. Its exciting to ride now that its uncorked and jetted. :eek2:
Hope the skid comes in before the ride, but it wont stop me thats for sure.
Hey..chk out the vid Tim shot of me hitting a pretty high vert...great for breaking it in :p http://www.yfzcentral.com/videos/100-0002_MVI.AVI

See ya the 20th rain or shine

My total is 3 quads including me. Rain or shine.

shee dawg
07-17-2003, 04:59 PM
Thats it?

Also... I s there any way to get to the old airport by road, or a spot close to it?

300exHILLER
07-18-2003, 03:01 AM
Thats just what I'm bringing. From what I can count we will have 10-15 quads on sunday.

2000ex
07-18-2003, 03:19 AM
By my estimates we should have a total of 20-25 guys for Sunday :p

Just to let everyone know, 90% of the trails we are riding on are legal area's to ride. There are a few trails that are illegal, but I have never dealt with any popo's out on these trails. I am sure y'all are used to this, but just wanted to put in that disclaimer.

Shee Dawg, there is a back road by the airport.....however I would not want to pull over there and drop off, as this is one of the trails as noted above :confused2

shee dawg
07-18-2003, 05:26 AM
20 to 25!!!:D That would be an awesome turn out!
I was just wondering about the access to the airpost because a friend wants to film us but I dont really want to lug his tubby *** out there on my sled :)
I was wanting to bring my banshee along to drag....Tim says he wants to take it to ride and leave his so I may be letting him take it along. Its just a bit@h to ride at low RPM with the setup its running, not too fun but **** if he wants to.
Im tring to invite a friend so he can ride the shee and Tim will still be able to take his EX but hes insisting to take the shee?!?! Go figure, I guess hes wanting to race more then ride.
SEE YOU GUYS SUNDAY!!!! RAIN OR SHINE wooowhooooo

Knight440

I did a trial run of the trip last saturday, and with the ex topped off with gas I returned with less than half a tank :ermm:

Oh yea..for those who do not like a few miles of MASSIVE whoops you are in for a treat :eek2:
They used to be big...now they are worse. Hope people want to hone their whoop skills because you will be put to the test. Hope the shee likes whoops

One of these days I will get of my arse and see how I will do in a legit race....only I think I will become addicted

I think we may have over 30 guys for tomorrow...please remember to bring at least one thing for food...I got a fresh half barrel of Bud so not to worry about the adult beverages :bandit:

ALSO about directions....look for my stock, atc250r which I will have out by the road so people know where we are all at

Thanks for everyone who showed up yesterday. Glad to see everyone had a good time besides the Polaris and the Warrior's transmission

The next time we will head out in the other direction so we dont need to deal with the 6 miles of Southwick whoops :grr:

The drags went well and I must say I was very impressed with the new YFZ :D Great power, handling, suspension, brakes, and controls.

Rusty, ya need to work on them launches and keeping the bike on the road. :uhoh: The 416 shocked me in that it was a pretty much dead heat on the first run even with you running off the road a little bit  I thought for sure I was gonna get my doors blown off

Hope to see everyone again soon:bandit:

Knight,
Thanks for posting them vids...I am waiting for nocando to finish editing the vid for some of my wheelie action

Man tim is a nut for standing between the rappy and the yfz taking that first YFZ/Rappy video. I was on the side and it was a bit hairy there...being in between them probably doin 60+ is a bit much for me
:huh

The first 416 vs YFZ is one for the boys at bluetraxx...;) however it was a somewhat tainted victory due to the operator failing to keep the HP on the track..:D The second one saw me lose but it was riding error on my part coming into contact with the trees on the start :grr: (damn pavement starts) and shutting it down early (I still would have lost if I got off clean)

As much as I loved riding the YFZ....I have to say that the old, outdated, underpowered EX held it's own out there. Would have been interesting if I brought the trike....hmmm maybe next time
