Ok i can get comp djustable svs tcs race series for 689 and works with rezzys for 476 which would be the better deal, i am thinking the tcs since its xc it will ahve adjustable compresion and there better then works, but is works really the better deal for 200 less?

I have never riden either one but i have heard that the works aren't alot of improvement over stockers!

"I have never riden either one but i have heard that the works aren't alot of improvement over stockers!"

I have Works triple rate shocks and they made a huge difference over stock! I would bottom the stockers over a bump on the track! I have yet to bottom my Works out. Works may not be the "best" out there but I don't want to spend a ton of money to buy Axis or Elka...etc

Your comparing two very different shocks...TCS is by far better than Works. Go with TCS.

my tcs have been awesome :D for trails, mx tracks, and even our little freestyle track...save a little extra for the tcs or elka or what not, you'll be glad you did

don't forget about looking in the for sale section and on ebay, i got these suckas for $450 :eek2:

I have Works longTravel shocks and they work VERY well

I would say get some used shocks if money is the problem (like I did)

Beat the heck out of them and save for all the 'good' stuff

Ok this is sorta funny

When I bought this setup I guess Iw asn't paying to much attention ...I just wanted to ride

Anyway, A bunch of us met up in MASS a month ago and my buddy asked me when I got LTs.... I said "huh ? "

So he pulls out a tape measure and goes to town

Turns out the shocks are 19" long and the Arms are for LTs :eek2:

I was Amazed ..... No wonder it feels so cushy going over everything :p

not bad for $700 (shocks & Arms)

Now I just need a nice rear shock:macho
