elderbrock 440 carb

obviously this carb is designed for a 440, but would it be good to run it on a quad that isnt a 440? say 416 or 426? or is it just safe to only run it on a 440?

I have it, but am not sure about that one call Duncan racing and tell them what your bike has and they'll know for sure.
