cracked block

I rolled my truck and my 300EX was in the back. The truck landed on my quad and cracked the block. I have thought about swapping in a 350x engine but didnt know how much trouble it would be. I was just wanting some opinions on what u would do.:(

hey man i would do it im saving up the money to do it to mine now. Ive heard they'll out run stock 400ex's.

I have heard that too. Do u by any chance know how much trouble the swap is

i heard it was easy just need the mounts and an exhaust, then cut the back part on the motor where the mounts go (not sure how much to cut it 1 1/2"?) people on the site have done this conversion before search for it!

I've been thinking of doing the same conversion. All the research I've done says it's relatively easy.

i have a lot of info on it and have wanted to do it for about a year now but i cant find a 350x that is cheap but not a pos and my parents say whats wrong with the engine in it now(they wouldnt let me buy anything off ebay anymore) but here is a link for how to do it http://users.nlamerica.com/dixiebai/atv/html/250x2.html
if u go to the bottom of this link it will have a thing to click on for the 350xr or rx it is a sweet conversion (its the frame of a 250r and the 350x engine i believe

hey sry to hear this...r u ok?anyways my cousin has a 350x crate motor and he put it in a 250x frame i think and he said it wasnt hard at all...but idk how it would wrk w/a 300 frame....if u do it post up the pics!

Yea im doin ok except for the fact that my truck is totaled :( but anyways JB weld is a wonderful thing:muscle: it's made it possible for me to ride till i can afford a motor swap or whatever i decide to do
