yeah i think im gonna start building a quad. im thinking about getting that Rolldesign frame that come with the suspension and everything. but i need to get a motor first. i just need to know where i can get one for the nest price and should i get YZF or CRF????

what the....

roll design doesnt have frames for either of those motors and the r frame is 10,000 i think...

crf and yzf its preference, the crf has more hp but smoother, the yz has more hit and feeels faster, crf is wet sump yzf is dry sump

I don't know if it would be better, but it would certainly be cheaper. If you are not a national racer you probably don't need a custom built $15k - $20k quad so i would buy the yfz and put what you need into it.

damn, that is one sweet bike outlaw. if i had the money, it would be mine.

i would go with the YZF450 unless u got a LOT of money. i dont think honda will come out with a CRF450R in the near future, so dont bother waiting. just my .02

I just threw a price in the air for any bites. If someone did want it id go and build a Walsh or laegers YZ450 ,or CRF from ground up 100% aftermarket. Im not really selling but hey u give me 8400 id be happy to build another kick ***** bike. No regrets or draw backs on this quad i love it.

id go with the crf since its a honda. but realistically many people do both so either way would be good. check ebay for engines, or on here in the for sale section

Id prolly do the YZ as the yz drtbikes are always faster than the honda's. But what ever i got a good price on id be hapy with

the crf has more hp than the 426 im 99.9% sure the 426 does hit harder and feels alot faster

The two motors are very different. The CRF has more bottom end intial hit, while the YZ comes on really hard mid to top. That is why you see companies like Lost Creek building YZs for TT. I have a full aftermarket 426 and it is way more power than I will ever need. A friend of mine just bought a full aftermarket CRF450 and it does hit a lot harder off the bottom, but to me (opinion) I think the Yamaha is easier to ride. Both are incredible and you won't be disappointed in any way with either of them. Good luck.
