View Full Version : I cant offford powder coating next best?

I posted this in steering and suspention buy accsident, I cant offford powder coating, what would be the next best thing because my frame is all ready rusting around the edges and i wanna fix it so it looks nice a new. I dont think normal paint will be tuff enougth is thaire a some thing else's i could use.

I think there is something called POR15 that is like regular paint but thicker. Not sure:ermm: I would save up and get it powdered though. That way you wont have to strip it down twice:o

If you can't afford powder coating you shouldn't even try to do paint, you'll be re spraying every other ride..... Powder coating is very cheap for what you get.. Now chroming is expensive but PC is very very resonable in price...

yeah just look around, i had my frame powdercoated locally for 80 bucks, and pappy did everything else for a good price, so just look around.

im getitng the frame subframe, a arms, swingarm, steem, motor mounts and a few other small thing pced mirror red to go wiht my silver plastic and he quated me 200 for it all.
