I forgot to mention the perks of being the ride coordinator..

Other riders have to wash your quad..

Others have to Fix and maintain your quad for you..

Haul your *** to the bars and all over town...

You can raid anybodies cooler without fear of being shot..

You can sleep were ya want...

Everyone must give you a ducket at the jiggly room...

Make other riders keep your beer cooler full of ice..

I also wanna give a big thanks to Ben for giving us lots of free stickers and Exriders T-shirts...

Which one of you jackazz mofo's sent the ole lady back to my tent infested with the skabbies, I got that stuff all over me now. It wasnt allergies, it was friggin poison oak. My privates are swelled up like balloons now. And next time someone please remove the key from Doug's quad upon returning from the campsite, please.

Good news, Pimps and Pimpettes!! The helmet-cam tape has made its way from North Carolina to Tennessee (thanks Wyndzer!!!) and I am preparing to dump it onto my PC. It will take me a few days to master it and press it to DVD, but once I have the first one made the duplication process will go relatively quickly. I'll check back in later tonight or tomorrow and let you all know how its looking.

Ok, I've managed to download all of the videos to my machine and I'm working on editing a few scenes to clean them up just a little. The problem is that it takes well over 30 minutes each time I try to save the big file (it's 1:48 hours and over 19GB!!). It's just such a big amount of data to work with, its taking forever.

Anyway, for that reason, I'm not going to do anything fancy with it. I'm just going to finish cutting the scenes, author a basic intro menu and start pressing DVD's. I may also manage to get a DiVX copy out tonight sometime. I'll get back to you guys.

Ok, I pressed the first trial DVD last night and everything looked pretty good. The only problem I had was that the audio crapped out on me about a minute into the movie. I'll have to take a look at that tonight (yes, I do have a day job) and see if I can't get this thing wrapped up by tomorrow.

Popo - The only jackass footage I have is a couple of wreck out-takes. I won't mention the jackasses who did the crashing... :blah:

As I mentioned before, those who were there get a free copy. Those who stayed home must pay. It's looking like the cost is going to be an even $5.

An important note on compatibility: This DVD will not play on all DVD players - mainly older ones. This is not my fault! It is simply a fact of life when dealing with this technology. I can say for sure that it plays on an X-Box. Beyond that, each person is on his own. For those who are familiar with the process, it was burned with DVD-R. If it doesn't play for you, go buy a new DVD player or find a friend who has one and have them burn it to VHS for you. :)

As I'm burning DVD's I'm going to be trying to convert the files to DivX and see about putting them out on the net. I went through the process of converting one of the files a few days ago but it just didn't turn out right - so I'll see about getting that fixed soon.

Ok my brothers, I went out today and got the envelopes and I've been sitting here addressing them and putting in the DVD's as I burn them. I should have them mailed out to everyone who's emailed me by tomorrow.
