Ok guys I don't have the money for the expensive aftermarket shocks and actually I don't think they are practical for the trails I ride on. I got a question for you though. On the stock 400EX front shocks, what setting works the best for you? I weigh about 150 lbs and everything seems stiff. Right now they are as soft as they'll go. I don't jump it too much except for the dunes. I know the dunes are really rough also and I was wondering if putting them to full soft will help reduce my arm pump? Thanks alot.

there isnt really anything you can do to make the stock front shocks perform better, all those adjustments on the front just affect ride hieght pretty much :ermm:

I felt the same way for a bit, but I just started keeping my weight on the back more and I don't even notice that the fronts are hard, I even have them set at the highest setting... I also weight 150... but how old is your 400? If its brand new it might take some time for the shocks to soften a bit...
