First XC race

Well i just got home bout 2 hours go from the tebbets, MO Hare Scramble I finished which ws my goal, it was 3 lap 9 mile race it took me 2 hours, 1 min, and 48 seconds. I was 30 some mintues behind the leader. I got 62 out of 89 overall and 7th out of the 23 in begineer calss, i was the youngest out there at 15.

I learned a few things I NEED skids i renforce my stock one the bike isnt damage but theres nothing left of the stock skid and i took it slow over rockie parts becaus ei didnt ahve chassis skid i will be buyign both of those shortly. I will also be getitgn a twist throtle You also need soemthing much better then stock shocks im saving up for some TCS with comp adjust. Rezzys. also you need a STOCK snorkle i got water in the airbox and the bike was cutting out the 3rd lap

Also Tis pissed me off i put my camelbkc on but it donest ahve a chest strap so it was falling off the whole time i was messing with it, if my bike wasnt cutting otu adn the camelback wasnt sliding down i think i would have done better.

Was anyone else there today?

I saw a ton of 400s with pipes and shocks, shocks make all the differenc ein the woods

Good job! your first race you can't expect too much but just learning. wow you have alot of people in your harescramble, in mine there is only like 30 people.

There are usually about 100 or more people at those harescrambles, the more the better:confused2

always run the air box lid in xc, even if its dry out.

and for shocks i would look at elka zps's, i dont see any woods guys running tcs.

Hey i was there awsome track 14th overall 7th in class had a bad crash got a flat front tire missed the 4th lap by less than a min.



i have no lid on my air box and was hittin all that water in 3rd and 4th gear flat out

and these saturday races are killin the quads number of entries (thank god that was the last one) all sunday races from now on

yeah i think i did preety good could have gone faster but it was my first time out i just wanted to finish.

I saw alot of tcs out there tcs is better then works and with all elkas problems im goign with tcs.

jgfarmsracer what bike and class you run in? I didnt ahve any problems with flats but i put 12oz of slime in each tire i can see a few places where it pluged.

A- class 2nd line to leave did you see the the yellow 400 that was last to leave that line That was me damn key didn't get turned on all the way

yeah i got a bad start 2 my damn battery cnection came loose and it didnt start the silinoid just clicked so i was pissed i kicked the fender where the silinoid was and it fired u after everyoen els was alredy past the AA class marker.

what mods you got on your bike?

no it was just practice nd i was watching the trail more then you i noticed your bike spins the tire pretty good even in the tacy stuff what engine kit you ahve 416? 426?
