is that turn down end cap better than what comes with the e-series when you first buy it? And what does it do? more low end, top end, or just noise?
here it is dennis kirk part # 445562 $31.99

A turn down wont do anything UNLESS you remove the spark arrester plate the goes over the last disc.
I just ordered one from the Quad Shop. I will be using it on the MX track. Just the turn down, no discs.
It will most likely give better throttle response and maybe a little more up top

ya i will be running my e series without all of the disks like i am right now. but instead of running it with eliptical endcap i wanna run it with the turndown seeing how there isnt gonnna be any disks..........i have been running mine like thise for a while and it helps down low quit a bit too and adds a decent amount of torque
