Ok, I am trying to decided on a cam for the 416, and some people are sayings to get hardened rockers, some say no. Could somebody please help me out. Paying $200 CDN for 4 isnt a price I wanna pay if I dont have to. I was looking into Hotcams stage 2 but from what I have read it is a top end cam. I am looking for more bottom end. They say the hotcam is a drop-in cam and no hard faced rockers are needed.

Also whats a good cam for the 416?

Thanks

Craig

I have the hotcam stage 1 and i think it works great. i have a 406
and it added a lot of mid-range. if your looking for more bottom you can always slot your cam sprocket and advance the cam timing.
