Yeah the shox really soak the landings up i was pleasantly surprised...i thought they would just be "ok", but i'm really impressed....the rebound is a little slow, but i'm workin on them....the a-arms are nice too with the added width!!

Cool man, the one thing I hate about my 250x is my susp. Maybe I'll try that, does it improve alot??? I don't really have money to get a 400 so I just need a better susp on my x:devil:

How much did all this stuff cost altogether, just so I have and estimate of what it will be:devil: I'm sorta hopin to do the 350x conversion this winter, so maybe that can come close after in the spring:devil:

thanx for the compliments guys.....im not sure what model of c-dale the shocks are from...i assume a Cannible due to the fact that they are not Ohlins.....i got the shocks on ebay from hellbound racing....i paid about 103 bux including shipping...and hellbound always sends their stuff out ASAP, so i received them about 4 days after the auction was over, which was really nice....the a-arms also came from an individual on e-bay...about $110 after shipping, and they came with tierods....rap169-the shocks didnt mount up to the factory mounts....they are, however, the same length as 400ex shocks, so i positioned the top mount like eveyone else does with the front end conversion....the mount we made is different than any ive seen, its a little beefier, but doesnt look quite as clean as the bolt on ones....i just felt more confident with may dads welding skills supporting my shocks as opposed to a cupla bolts holding the mount on....so far, everything has held up great....the welds are fairly clean, and when i get my frame pc'ed, im gonna grind them down a bit....the only problem ive had is with the lower shocks bushings and bolts...i used bolts from a 400, but the bolts that go through the shock mount on the a-arms of a c-dale must be bigger because when i put the 400 bolts through, i have a little bit of play, almost as if the bushings were shot.....other than that, this was a cheap and fairly simple project and i recommend that anyone modifying their 300's engine do this due to the improved handling....when we put the mount on, we added an extra piece of tubing under the tubing that was to be the new mount....this made the mount higher and lowered my front end about 1 inch compared to a stock 400...i also put sum offset rims on the front, and that made a nice difference...i'd have to say this is the perfect width...riding and jumpin in dust bowls and practice tracks, i feel stable, yet im not so wide that i hit stuff in the woods.....any other questions just ask id be glad to help!:D
