250r-87?

I am looking at an 87 250r its in pretty mint condition, is 87 a good year for those or what? the guy lives on my street and he just rebuilt the engine its bored 30 over... what are your guys thoughts?

i have an 87 no complaints but get the 89 clutch update kit from NACs.

well the deal is the guy needs soem excavation done so im gonna do that for him he originally wants 35 but i think were gonna make a deal, i will get a ton of pics if i do pick it up, its all white, not marks or nothin, he put a graphics kit on like a day ago, he jsut bought it and is fixing it up nice to sell it to ME:) i think:scary:

I see you're in Maine. Do you know if this guy tried to sell it to Naults Honda in Manchester, NH? I was at Naults the other day talking to a salesman, and he said some guy tried to sell them a MINT 87' done up for MX and he only wanted 3000$ for it, but the dealership wouldnt buy it because it was modified..

dont belive it is moded for MX i havent seen the motor IN it yet becuase he has just finishing rebuilding it, all i can see is itp chromys it almost all looks original, the plastic is the best part by far.. what does the front bumper look liek on a stock one i Think this one has a 400EX bumper on teh front if i can member... anyway i dont believe it is set up for mx...
