You guys need to check out www.weather.com and type in zip code 89123 it says it is 111 degrees but feels like 125. This sucks way to hot to ride or even go outside.

The temp is not quite that high here in KS, but man...I doubt you have had humidity like it is here which makes it extremely HOT!!

I think I would rather sit in a hot sauna than a dry oven  I think?? I've been to Houston, TX and Cancun, Mexico and they are really humid.

It's not that bad here because we're right next to the ocean, but geez, go even a half hour inland, 100 degrees easy. Desert's like 115. Nowhere to ride:mad:

Sometimes at night we go out to a dry lake bed by our house that's about the only time to ride last night while I was watching the ten 0' clock news it was still 102 in Henderson. I think this weekend we are going to go to Cedar City, Utah it's only in the nineties there and they have a mile long mx track you can practice on from like 8am to 5pm. Excape the heat.

Our power bill last month was $125. Not as bad as last summer we bought a ac window unit for our room so we turn that on at night and leave all the fans on so our main ac doesn't have to work so hard.

Last week it was 90-92 with the humidity about 90%-95%. I've been to Vegas when it was 114 and it totally sucked. I would rather have it at 91 with humidity up to 95% versus that 114 in the desert. It was so hot, and when there was a breeze, it felt like a hair dryer blowing at ya!!! You actually gotta be a vampire to live out there.:D

Nellis Air Force Base north of NV was 121 degrees last night at 6:00. And it was 119 by my house on South Las Vegas Blvd. I think I'm gonna cry I really need to move.

116 here in Phoenix yesterday. I went riding last night at about 9:00pm, and it was still 102!!! The whole "dry heat" thing is BS after about 105, then it's just plain H-O-T!

Isn't Phoenix always about 5 to 10 degrees hotter than Vegas seems like on the news it's always a lot warmer. We are going to go up into UT this weekend and get out of the heat.

I can't wait to get out of this place I am hoping in two years we will be gone. I talked to my little brother and on the 4th of july weekend he went parasailing in Bear Lake then he went to his friends cabin up in Heber and lit off fireworks and rode in the mountains then on Sunday he went on a day dune trip to Sand Mountian. He lives in UT and that's where I am from but my Husband doesn't want to move because he says it's boring up there the bars may close at 1:00a.m. but we usually do all of our drinking in the garage anyway at least up in UT you can ride all year even in the snow.
