416,426,440 which to choose?

ok guys sorry if this has been answered already but i couldnt find a topic. im wanting to run mx and im wanting to know if i should go ahead and go with the 440 or get something smaller. ill be running Stage 2 cam no matter what and FST oil cooler also. please let me know

silverfox any main reason why. i am debating basically between 416 and 440 but cant decide. i would like to know the ups and downs of the two. any help at all would be appreciated

Well I have the 426. I love it. It does get a little hotter than the 416. I have heard of 416 being a lot faster than 440s I know mine is faster than my friends 440. Plus you can do a 416 for a lot cheeper than a 440.

It is cheaper than the 440, and does not vibrate like a 440 would. and if anything goes wrong then you can bore to the 426..

i think i may go 416 then because if a 416 can outrun a 440 then i will definately be going 416
