I have a 400ex with uni filter, shaved fenders, whitebros e series, and has a 155main jet in it.....will it come close to running with a stock kfx going wide open?? i have a friend that just has shaved fenders on his 400ex and he beat a z400 wide open so..........i was wondering if i could stand a chance

they never gave me a problem when my bike was stock except for a e series slip on k&n dynojet kit and a aluminum airbox and removed choke ;)

I am confused. Your friend has a totally stock 400ex with shaved fenders that beats a KFX wide open and you are wondering if your 400ex that is more modified will?

I guess it depends on how well you jetted yours.

i can pull a stock z-400 of the line in a drag race but i missed a shift and he passed me. he had 20" straight paddle and i had 21" dune sliders, which really suck becuase of the .5" tall paddles.

what?????
my friend has no problem passing me wide open, we went on the road, and a z-400 has more topend.
---he has 21' mudsharks
k&n
e-series slipon
---i have 22' maxxis surtraks
jetkit
big gun slipon
k&n
ground welds in header
and what ever is in sig

and no you can say that i just cant ride, cause i smoke him everytime in a drag. We even switched bikes and i still won, but my ex will never catch up on topend. I was going 5th pinned and he came flying past me so, i don't know.

my riding buddy has a kfx we bought them at almost the same time, same hours on the motors. We weigh almost exactly the same. mine has a filter, and his has the spark arrestor removed. It is so even that you wouldn't be able to tell a difference. and mine wheelies better, his just stays cooler, darn water cooled.
