Ok. At Nac's racing they have a laegers steering stem for $219 that is made from 1-1/8" o.d. x .065 Moly but the shipping weight is 4lbs..

when I look at the Lonestar for $314 that is a Chromoly stem its shipping weight says 30lbs

does it really wiegh that much? and will the laegers bend a lot easier cuz its light and made of moly(im guessing its molybneum) or are they the same strenght.. I gotta buy a new stem but since im selling the quad sometime in the future i didn't want to pay 314 for a stem.. What do you think I should get?

i would go laegers or look at houser. both companies make extremely great stems. the LSR ones imo are just overpriced. they are excellent stems but overpriced

I just got a new chrome +1 lonestar anti-vibe with protaper clamps for my R and it weighted about 13 lbs.

Paid $250 for it.
