This is my RX conversion. I am just now getting some pics of it.

Anyway under the 400ex plastic is a 1986 250r frame modified for the 1986 350x motor. Which was bored and stroked to a true 400cc's. Other mods include roll design +2 a-arms, Ohlins shocks front and back, Dura Blue axle.

Its a fun machine to ride and really gets attention when I go to start it and have to use a kickstarter. I haven't run it against any 400ex's so I really don't know how it would compare.

Anyway just thought I would show some pics of my handywork.

Thanks for the compliments,

I actually made this back in 99, when the 400ex was first introduced. The reason I chose to use 400ex plastic was because at the time putting 400ex plastic on a 250r frame was different and hardly anyone had done it.

Oh, and I think that as far as the letters go.

X= four stroke
E= electric start

Here is a pic of my 89 R.

By the way this quad used to have a black and red seat on it, but I am using that seat for another project.
