Hey everyone. When/ if I decide to install a 14 tooth front sprocket, will I have to get a shorter chain, or just adjust my stock one? I understand that the 14 tooth is slightly smaller in diameter in comparison to the 15 tooth stocker, but I'm not sure how much of a difference there will be. Please help! Thanks.

All you need to do is tighten your chain after installing the 14 tooth sprocket. I put a 14 tooth on my 400 a few weeks ago but found out that all my power was low-mid and not much top end. So I switched back to the stock 15 tooth.

Low-mid power is exactly what I am wanting. I am a big boy, so I need all the help I can get when it come to getting my big butt rolling.

I put the 14t on when I got a new chain and sprockets. gears top out a lot quicker, and its a lot harder to do 5th gear wheelies. I am gonna put my 15 back on some day, for now I am to lazy...:blah:
