My 400ex seems to run hot and i was wondering, what is the cheapest way to help cool my 400ex better?

Larger capacity oil tank, keeping your oil coller fins clean, better gas, extra fins welded on, air scoops.

The Pingry is a good choice. Works by adding 50% to the oil capacity and dispersing heat through increased capacity and cooling holes in the tank itself. The scoops will also redirect more air to the engine and help when the quad is moving at speed.
