300ex goes thru oil??

My 1995 300ex goes through oil pretty quick, and i noticed that my chain is always drenched with oil, and it smokes...the smoke is a light gray w/ some blue in it. And i noticed my chain is always wet w/ oil when im done riding. DOes anyone know wut i can do about this???:huh

the smoking may mean it is running rich, and you may have too much oil in it

i think your sidecase is busted around the chain causin it to make an automatic chain oiler lol

^ he's probably right, clean around the front sprockett really well and check for any kind of cracks. its a 95, so check the compression, it could be time for a rebuild

i just had it rebuilt w/ 20 over bore, wiesco 11:1 piston, new vavles, Hot Cam stage 1, New crank shaft, and new racing clutch?? i usually run 93 gas. but i was thinking the reason it was leaking, is that maybe that seal that is behind the front sprocket needs replacing? And i also thought that it may be Over jetted.

yeah, i was ganna say your sprocket seal in the case cover

also, blue smoke is oil, so that wouldn't be jetting
