WOW! Thats a PERFECT jump! I LOVE it! too bad you had to bail! i always afraid my chain is going to come off right before a jump! But is that a track or just a jump? Thats pretty cool man, well not the reckin part, but hope ya get the bike fixed and back in action!;)

QuadR8cer12
07-07-2003, 11:20 AM
It is at my friend jarrods house he has a track in his back yard. It has alot of jumps and whoops and everything..we just built that jump today. It is sweet

07-07-2003, 11:23 AM
u were doing that big of a jump with a stock back shock?

QuadR8cer12
07-07-2003, 11:24 AM
It's stock but just got it rebuilt a month ago

BlasterBTW
07-07-2003, 11:39 AM
Very nice jump! I would kill to have a "private" track with jumps like that! You get 2 thumbs up from me my friend! And I know about the rear shock thing....sucks don't it....lol Did you get hurt at all??:macho

^ what he said!

Now that i think about it your VERY lucky you didnt even get hurt! I had a friend that broke his jaw in 3 places and had sergery and had medal plates put in there, and all he did was over shoot a 60ft double!:( Least its a stock shock and not a $800 shock! Looks like you landed right on your head or chest when you bailed! Your lucky guy!:ermm:

Well................... bein another TEXAN....... it gets EXTREMELY hot here..... with gear on and the humidity and the heat... the index gets sometimes to like 120 out.... In some ways I dont blame him for not wearin all the gear just b/c ive come close to fainting from heatstroke (once i did faint) the only thing is the heat from the motor will tear your legs up.. but I can see a reason why he wasnt wearin all his gear and yes i know its not a good excuse or anything but.... all im sayin is I can see why...... Texas heat sux!!!

07-08-2003, 03:56 AM
u crazy white boy, wait a minute, im white too. this reminds me of the wreck i had on my quad 2 months ago. i was goin to jump this little dirt pile and there was a ditch in front of me and i didnt see it till the last minute and i wasnt goin fast enough to make it over and if i had gased it, it would have flipped over on me so i bailed and fractured my wrist. if i didnt bail, it would be alot worse. didnt do any thing to the quad

I hit it in 3rd gear pinned...The only thing I messed up on my quad was my brand new handle bars brand new back shock brand new blue fenders brand new FIBE hood and my thumb throttel and my bumper and I bent the crap outa my sub frame and the front of the frame where the bumper connects to the frame...

QuadR8cer12
07-08-2003, 08:13 AM
well when I was going up to the lip the bike cut out right at the top of the lip causing the front end do endo and I had to bail off or it woulda been alot worse because the bike woulda flipped over on me...but Hey I almost pulled off the first ever front flip!:p but if your stil confused watch Huevos 5 and what happened to Dana Creech in the crash section when he breaks his back....thats pretty much what I did except he got hurt alot worse than I did

you should have kicked the rear end down so it lanxded flat before you bailed, or wht would ahve been sweet fire it back up and level it off and when you hit if you survive the landing single the next jump

You gonna be racing the Full Moon series that starts next Saturday (July 19th)? If so, I'll see ya there. Great pics Man , I pulled the same stunt when I was 14 on a YZ80 Dirt Bike , two bent forks , bars , seat cover and rear fender later I was back but being more careful . Mine was jumping off the top of a 35 ft, sawdust pile with a pipe at the top . I hit it pinned in fourth and shot off the top and cleared the bottom of the pile which was about 60 fot in diameter . Landed on sawdust nose first then endoed , I was still on the Bike . good thing all the Crap in my pants cushioned my fall . These things hurt . Good luck .

Wow, I would be impressed if someone could crap their pants 3 times in one fall. Thats like a 3 trick combo. I've done it twice in one fall but I just couldn't get that 3rd one. :huh Haha, I dunno, I'm just weird.

Ya dude, you should try to atleast come watch the races. You know the right corner after the finish line, then there was that double, triple? Well they took that out and now they have a pretty narly whoop section and a double after it. More than likely I"m gonna get stomped at that race, I'm not even jumpin the finish line yet!!!! :o But oh well, I'll prolly get that down on Saturday and still get slaughtered out there. It's all about having a good time.

P.S. I think you should just retire your rear shock. I"m sure you could find a good deal on ebay or something.
