2000 440ex mechanics special

Hey guys, im sick of messing with this second 400ex of mine. It has a white brothers 440 kit in it and she likes to eat head gaskets. It has a full K&N Kit that is brand new, along with a fairly new dyno jet kit. Rear razr tires at about 50% and front stockers probably 50% too. Also has a Ceet seat cover. Is in good shape cosmetically. I bought it running, it just leaked out of the head gasket, the guy promised me all it needed was a new gasket, but i dont know if the head is warped or the cylinder needs decked or what, i paid 2600 for it and then stuck a 25 dollar headgasket in it. I will take no less than $2500 for it or possibly a trade. Just let me know.

well as of right now chris (who i think is bunker on here :confused: ) is coming to look at it later this week. He is bringing a 300ex and some cash so im really hoping i can work something out with him but if not i will let all you guys know. I would prefer cash because all i am going to do is resell his 300ex, but all trades are considered.

Kilabanshee, Those are Pep Limited mass tripple rates that were valved for 170-190 pound rider on +2 a-arms They are very soft for me if you offer me the right amount of money they are yours, but i paid a good amount of money for them just a month and a half ago.

to keep your head gasket from blowing put a new one on torqe it to specs start quad and let it heat up then retorque the heads that should fix the problem unless you have studs that are pulling out or you have warpage

just buy the longer stud bolts for your 440 and it wont eat head gaskets

Sorry guys been real busy lately, to be honest i dont have the will to fix it anymore, i worked on it all sunday lost intrest, thats why im just wanting to get rid of it. On my good 400ex, That is just shiny black maier. Chris, Call me tonight if i dont hear from you it goes back up for grabs
