I Woke up to a smash instead of my alarm

This morning I woke up to a big smash, and took this picture from the back of my patio - everybody was ok. The driver ran into a parked car.

Glad everyone was okay. Was there an animal in that cage/box ?

There was no animal in the cage. The driver didn't look drunk, but he may have fallen asleep at the wheel. But, he was awake afterward! He got out through the passenger side door - He popped right out - no injuries or anything. The police did give him a ticket. The car that was hit was parked on the side street. It looked totalled to me. Thats one of the bad things about having an apartment next to a busy street. Oh well, at least my bedroom isn't on that side!
