custom axis or PEP will be the best ones. TCS is very good from what i hyear, and they ahve about a week turn around, the quad shop is pretty fast but i have heard a few bad things about there rear rebuilds

I'd go with TCS...you never hear people complaining about their shocks, their wait is short, and their prices are pretty decent.

My DeRisi rear rebuild is great! I had it done a couple of seasons ago and now I am running it over my rear ELKA. I feel the rebuild from DeRisi rides much better than the rear fully adj. dual rate ssd I boought from ELKA that they have rebuilt twice to try to get correct!

I got a PEP rear rebuild on my 400 and it works flawlessly. Just as someone posted earlier, I got it done to compliment my PEP limited mass front shocks I bought at the same time... PEP does one hell of a rear rebuild that comes to you spot-on, but as far as wait time, Baldwin is running about 4-5 weeks on rebuilds right now so you might want to go TCS if you cant wait.... PEP is where its at though man.

Am I reading this stuff wrong? Do you just need your shock freshened up? ya know- new oil, seals, and the such? I just sent my AXIS rear to AXIS, for a revalve and service, and it was only $100.85 including return shipping. New oils, seals, Nitrogen, and valving mods.

hey guys. its been a year later. last year i was gonna go trcs all around with theremrear rebuild. i decided to go pep all aorund. un fortuanlet i had to cancel my front pep shocks and get elka so i wouldnt miss anymore races. we just did the elka rebuild rear on my brothers kfx and its alot better, but not as good as my pep dual rate.

of course a rebuild will not be as good as a whole new shock itself.
