I go in, kinda scan the picture quality of all of them in the size I want. Then I walk off for a bit, come back and scan again. The one that seems to have the best pic, for a good price, I get that one.
I really want that Sony 32 inch flatscreen trinitron, man, what a picture:blah: Its about 800 bucks. Sony wins hands down for the picture quality.
I was at someones house the other day, they had a small 15 or 17 inch Sony flatscreen trinitron on the kitchen counter, man, what a picture!

i have a sony 36" trinitron in my room, i love it.. i have s video and optical cables hooked up to my dvd player and s-video setup to my direct tv reciever to give it an even better picture and optical wires running from the ps2, which all connect to my reciver which powers the sound out to the onkyo home theatre with 650 watts of juice! :)

you cant go wrong with a toshiba 50" high definition tv also, we have one in the living room, its awesome. great for watchin huevos or playing atv2!!!-

teamc&g, upgrade to component cables and you're good to go ;) as for the TV suggestion, if you're gonna go with something smaller, go for the sony. when it comes to the bigger TV's, I like the samsung's or hitachi's... i work in the audio/video department at circuit city, work with TVs, surround sound, and camcorders allll day long :)

Sony is the best, and they know it so you'll pay for it. Go to a store that has a lot of brands and see what you like best. What's your budget?

I got a 21" from Walmart with a built in dvd & vcr player. It was pretty cheap like $200, but couldn't tell ya what name brand it is. The ones w/ dvd & vcr built in is nice for the bed room. Somethin to consider....

I did some researching before I bought my tv. I found out that Hitachi makes the Sony big screens. Because sony is only good at making picture tube tv's. After I found this out, I bought a 52" hitachi high definition tv.. The picture is amazing, and watching Huevos, and playing ps2 is amazing !

lol y would i go a step down to component cables, those are the red/white/yellow wires, s-video is a huge step above the component wires. Composit wires on the other hand are wires that i could upgrade to , but you wouldnt be able to tell a difference between them and s-video

You got that mixed up bro. The component cables are the best. It goes in order from composite, s-video, then to component. S- video is a step up form composite, component is an even bigger step up. i am 110% positive about this. also, monster cable even makes three types of component cables and likewise, s-video cables. monster cable component cables type 3, best you can buy right now
