Does anyoen have cut fenders and race xc? Is it better with the fenders not cut so theres not stuff flyin up in your face? I have to buy a new front pair and im wondering which ones to get.

buy regular fenders. Too much to fly up and hit you on xc trails. Before you race, use some "Pam" of other kind of cooking spray and coat the underside of you fenders before the race. Makes cleaning a breeze:)

horrible idea. think about all the crap in the woods you run over. then think about all the crap you clean off the underside of your fenders. it'll be in your face.

nah, all i do is woods, and some of the woods are really really really tight (i got ext a-arms too) so i bought race cut just so i could see my tires better and it hasnt bothered me much really, i dont ride to stay clean so a little mud never hurt me.

it's fine for moderate trail riding. But when it gets wet and muddy cut fenders don't work to well. I ride/race both MX and XC. A full set of fender for XC is a must as well as having cut fenders for MX. Yes it does look cool but gettin crap slung in your face nonstop gets old after a while...
