sounds like you ride Only woods mostly.. and unless you really go to the dunes often you wont have much need for the trx5- centermount.. especially because you WILL get water all over the filter as well as mud and such from the woods..

you say you ride on wide open roads as well.. deffinately the type of riding for the trx5 because it has more mid-top hit.

However, if you do want alot more bottom end for some more casual woods riding.. then I'd say get the Trx-6 low-mid pipe.

I've onwed them both, the low end o the trx-6 is increabilbe, almost feels like it has a power vavle, the trx5 losses a little of the lowend but revs out a little more. Both pipes are the best money could buy in my opinion.

If it is fast xc go for the trx5, for tight technical trails trx6.

For what you describe go with the trx5, you will not be disappointed.

If your don't mind the noise (average aftermarket silencer volume) the ESR silencer if fantastic. The quality and fit is great. Also you could use a stock silencer with the ESR pipes with little performance loss. This is great for those trips where you need low dbs and/or a spark arrester.

yeah.. the esr silencer will be way to loud for him if he rides in the woods with the people prone to complaining.. it comes out at 105Db with the esr Silencer..

id pick up a fmf turbine cor2 or one of the other quiet ones.. not much loss except sound.. and maybe the Esr silencer for the times the noise doesnt matter...
