rev limiter

does Ne 1 no how to bypass the rev limiter and if i do it gow hard willl it be to over rev it :confused:

Get a different rev limiter, that lets it rev higher. With your mods though your EX is done making power at the rev limiter, reving higher wnt reall help. Don't elimiate, if you ven can:confused: because if your throttle happens to get stuck some time you wont blow your engine.

i wanted to get rid of it cuz i dont have the money to by i new one and it cuts out to early in 5th

i think it cost just about the same to remove it as it does to buy a new one. are you sure it is cutting out in 5th due to the rev limiter and not jetting?

You could always change your gearing to make more speed (that's what i did) then you wouldn't have to worry about over reving the engine. By the way i have a 14 tooth front sprocket and a 36 tooth rear with 20" razr's and i love the extra top speed that it gave me. First gear is alot more useful now too.
