does someone still have their aftermarket oil cooler instructions they could send me a copy of. im doing my own system with $170 of stuff ordered from JEGS, and i would like to have a set of instructions to use as a guideline. would it be worth $5 to make copies and stick them in an envelope?

Hey Vegas,

Why did you spend $170 from Jegs, when the FST is like $135??

Just wonderin...Post a parts list, maybe I'll do the same if it's better than FST.

im putting it all together my self. its gonna have brainded lines, the red and blue hose ends and such. here are the part #s check thier web site.

799-660440 strait fitting x2 $4.99 ea
555-100021 90deg. bend x2 $14.99 ea
555-1000911 6' braided x1 $27.99 ea
555-100011 45deg bend x2 $15.99 ea
771-1009 perma-cool x1 $33.99 ea
total $142.91

i added in an extra 6' line when i figured it, so its $142.91 minus the shipping which is about 8 bucks i belive. its gonna look kick *** when its on... i thought about getting a bigger polished version of the stock cooler. part #130-70265. if i do that i would have to change a few of my fittings. i also wonder if you could plumb in both stock and after market coolers... do you have the insructions..

no hose clamps to clutter it up.

Ok, so you plan on tapping the head for this install? How/where do you determine the location? What type of fitting is needed for that??

On the Valve cover you tap the head on the right side center of the flat spot. Once you pull it you will see where. Then you have to tap where the oil comes up the head and put a set screw in there with red locktight. Then on the Clutch case you have to tap it right at the top of the oil runner. I will try to see if I have pics tonight or if I can find the directions. The tap is a 1/8-27. A strange tap(if I am not mistaken) and the kit used 90 degree brass fittings(Sucks ***). They crack easy so make sure you use a bottom tap if not they will go in wrong and cause you problems.
