New Model

Just wondering if any of you have been able to find any information about the possibility of Honda releasing a new EX with the 450 motor from the CRF450? I read a short article on it in the January 02 4-Wheel ATV Action on page 6. I also read in the Jan 02 Dirt Bike magazine the the CRF450 puts out 49.1hp stock. Also it's liquid cooled. With that kind of power and reverse Honda could be back on top as soon as it comes out. I know I'd buy it.:)

I seen somthing that you'd have to race in the open(term?) class because it has to many cc's. The limit is 440 and it has 450.

Houser is building a frame to put the 450 in and ProFab ATV is doing some mods with them. It will be in the next issue of DW, and maybe a couple others. It will have ProFab ATV stickers all over it. Other than that, I haven't heard anything about a 450 Honda quad.

If you want one you could make one. Houser is scrambling to build 20 of the frames and then you could by the CRF and swap the engine over. Same way people made 426 Yamaha's.

Sparks racing is just resleeving them down to a 440 and whammo,,,you now can race it in a pro class,,,and if ya wanna know something,,,I bet we see Shane Hitt on a honda 450 motor this year in the nationals,,,and he probably won't be the only one..I can't wait to see..:D
