View Full Version : Armidilo swingarm skid???

Anyone running this skid? It looks like a PRM, but I am sure it is different. I just ordered the Armidilo one, how does everyone like it. My buddy is running the PRM, and it looked like a great skid. Just wanted to get everyones oppinion on these.

I've run one on my quad for about almost 4 years now. I love it. It has gone thru 2 years of xc racing with just cosmetic scraps and scratches. I will buy another one when this one finally is shot. Which doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon.

It's a good strong skid. I just had too much trouble with the bolts getting sheared off.

I have the Armidillo bumper,but not the skid, I hate the one I have now.the plastic ones are better than the one I have now:grr:

I ran the Armadillo on my old 250x and another one on my 400ex and love them both. They take a serious amount of pounding and beating while riding on 20" Holeshots in the western Pa. boulder covered trails, without even bending at all.
I heard of people shearing off the bolts on them, but I haven't run into that in the 5 years that I've been whoopin on them. (So far, anyway);)
