im thinking about gettin a 416 kit by either wiseco, or je which one is better in relibilty? does it come with the sleve or is it just the piston?

i personally think je is a higher quality piston. the 416 will probally just come with the piston. you usually won't deal with the new sleves untill you go bigger than a 426.

really i didnt kno that u will only have to get a new sleeve only when u get a 426 or higher. ummm i learned something new, but i do need to get it bored correct? thanks

go with the J.E piston. to me they are better quality

No sleeve needed for a 416. You have to have your cylinder bored out .080" (2mm) to fit the 87mm piston. Actually, a good shop will require that they have the piston when they do the boring so they can precisely match the cylinder to the piston. 87mm is a good size cause you can have it bored one more time if you have to do another rebuild, .120" (3mm) to fit a 88mm piston and you end up with a 426. After that, it's time to get a new sleeve.
The JE piston comes with rings wrist pin and clips.

yes, you will need the bike to be bored out in order to get a 426. if you want you could always leave it the factory size and hone it out and put in a higher compression piston. this won't yield as much power, but it will give less heat and will let you hone or bore more times.
