my brother is looking for a quad and he is thinking of getting a 400ex but i was wondering if that would be too big and powerful for him because the only quad he's ever owned was a 87 suzuki 125 quadrunner but he is Experienced on bigger quads like blasters and sometimes my 400ex but he is thinking that if he gets like a blaster it is too little power for are trails which he is right he is 13 almost 14 i think around 5'6 5'7 and he weighs about 130

have him ride your ex some more to see if thats what he really wants, otherwise maybe a 300ex

no quad is too big for anyone,its about ability to ride. I'm about 5'4 and have ridden some pretty tourqy shees,EX'd,raptors,Z's and i can ride them just fine and not have trouble handling them.if hes experienced enough,tell him to go for it!

Not sure it all depends on his skill level. He might be better off with a 300ex. Let him try you 400 a bit more to see if he can handle it properly and if he can then let him go for it :D
