split?

when a person has to put on a new cam chain, does the case need to be split? BTW this is on a polaris 500

i don't think so. i've never heard of splitting cases just to put in a new cam chain

i don't think you have to, i didn't have to when i put a new one on my old lt185.....but of course since yours is a polaris they probably made it really difficult and a piece of crap so who knows:D :rolleyes:
