My Z radiator fan design. The stock one is crap, so I designed my own instead of paying $247 at the dealership for another replacement.
Anyone interested in one for their Z? I can do them in custom powdercoating as well. This one shown is stainless.

are those just big computer fans? are they water proof?
do they run all the time, or do they have a sensor?
they look super trick though, nice work

thanks, they are wired to kick on just like the factory fan, pull more air than the stock set-up, too. They are electrical fans...but are set up to handle moisture.

there's a difference between moisture and water. those look like they are computer fans so they look like they couldn't handle mud or water like a normal quad fan could. drive it through some mud and wash it down and tell us how it operates after that.

still working fine, even after a good meticulous spray down. The grills guard out a lot of the water/mud. If need be I can replace many of these fans for the price of one crappy factory setup.

FYI, after a few rides and a few washdowns, the fans are still going strong.

Oh, I know you were... ;)
I'll have to get the radiator fan mount dimensions in order to do a YFZ, but it shouldn't be a problem. I'm going to start a Raptor design soon, already have requests for those.

by the way we had some problems with the fan blades falling off the motors, but a little super glue fixed that
