Been thinking about starting a new project & building myself a chopper. Starting with a custom frame and getting parts as I can afford them. Anybody else into choppers or have some experience they care to share? I could care less about Jesse James stuff, their beautiful but I won't see one in my lifetime. I've been looking at something like this only I want to build it myself:

i have been thinking about doing the same as you, building one and buying stuff a little at a time.
I redid a sportster for the girlfriend over the winter. I put a 3.5 gallon stretched tank, different seat, bars, tailight-turn signals, pipes, shocks, buffed the forks, engine case covers and just added a bunch of other chrome goodies and painted it orange.
it turned out pretty good.
I have also fixed a couple of yamaha vstars that had been wrecked already

Look inside the chopper mags, you can buy the entire kit (less paint) for less than 15,000 and have a badass chopper!!!!

Orange County Choppers is not to far away from me, I live close to Rock Tavern, the person in charge which some of you may know is Paul Teutul. Me and my dad watch the show and we find it intresting yet humorous at the same time.

Choppers are awesome, Paulie Jr is making some nice Theme bikes now. The Spider bike was cool, and so was the Jet Bike..

I've been wanting to get a bike to tool around town with for a while now. Superbikes are everywhere and I think I'd just kill myself on one. I rarely see really nice choppers here in Cleveland. I don't know much about building them but then again I never tore down a quad until last winter and I was amazed how easy it was. I was in East Coast choppers in Ft. Lauderdale not too long ago and they were sellin really nice one's with 113ci engines (150hp) for under $30k. They sell just frame/engine kits too for what seemed pretty reasonable. Gonna have to do some more research on them but right now I think that may be my next project. Who else makes top notch kits?

Sly that's a stylin ride bro!

Chef, is that yours?!

Theres a "Suicide Choppers" on the east coast of Pa. Its sits on Rt.611, about 10 miles south of I-78 on the Delaware river. I think it used to be called, "East Coast Choppers." Anyone have any more info on this place? Exact location?
