Hey everyone. Quick question. What does everyone think about a WB rev kit on an 02 400ex? I have the opportunity to get one but I really haven't heard much about them.

Can you all give me the pros and cons of a rev kit? I'm looking for some info from those with experience, not the sales pitch of my local dealer.

Exactly. I've heard story's of those things just causing problems starting. Besides a stock internal 400ex engine, stops making power gains WELL before the stock rev limiter... no point in over reving a stock motor. :cool:

I was actually thinking the other day that if someone did a cam grind taking into account the high rev limit - the combo could have merit - especially for greater top end power. Do any of the engine builders do something like this? This would of course also be harder on the engine though...
