removed chocke today, plug hole?

I removed my coked today and just ledft the black piece on thwere that sealls with the oring, i pulled the cap off of it and pulled the rod out then i sealed it up with silcone and made a big silicone base in the blakc thing so it cant be pulled threw, evne if it is it should do to much damgaed not like a piece of metal anyway, you think it will be ok?

i would think it would be ok. as a matter of fact, i just got a little rubber cap to put over it. i think it was 3/8 inch. you can pick them up from a local auto parts store.
