Here they are:
Remember to qualify you must have entered at least 5 afternoon races of the 9 (dnf's count). And also these are my own calculations and I am only human so there my be a mistake or Racer Production may have changed how they do the actual number assignment. This is just an estimate.

How do you figure this out? Thanks.:confused2

Well I use a spread sheet in Microsoft excel to calucalte it and sort it by total points. How I generate the points is on a scale of 1 to 500. 500 points to the racer that overalls the event and you go down the list from there. After that you add each of those points per race and that is how I come up with the point totals. Most points outside top 20 is 21 and just go down the list. GNCC rules state you have to enter at least 9 of the 13 races to get a national number and up to 11 count for the number so after 9 you would have to have raced min. of 5 and enter the last 4 to be eligable (sp) for a national number.

example:
Dirk J Decesare:
rd 1= 35 place= 466
rd 2= 15 place= 486
rd 3= 25 place= 476
rd 4= 27 place= 474
rd 5= 29 place= 472
rd 6= 44 place= 457
rd 7= 19 place= 482
rd 8= 30 place= 471
rd 9= 41 place= 460
add all the rounds points up to get 4244.
Then see where he fits versus the rest. He happens to be the top rider outside the top 20, so right now he is 21st using me formula.
Racer production was using this a couple years ago and I can't see why they would change it.

Hope this clears it up for you.

Mike

No problem. I like to know where I'm at in the standings that's the main reason I do it. This way I know what I need to do to get my goals that I set at the beginning of the season. Instead of having to wait until the season is over and seeing that I was couple points or numbers off. This way I know were I stand. I figured since I go to all the time figuring out the numbers I might as well share it with everyone else too. This way we all know how we are doing compared to fellow racers and friends.

hi,

how is this going to change once the riders get to "throw away" races? will you only count the 9 best scores?

Actually for the national numbers racer production takes the best of 11 out of 13. The 9 your thinking of is for each class.

And yes I will calculate with the throw aways left out once they start to come into play (round 12 and 13).
