y doesnt anyone talk about or run ohlins? are they pretty good?

my friend has a set on his R. i have a 300ex with 400 front end. i was wondering if i can put the ohlins off the R onto my 400 arms and shock mount.

they should bolt up, for extra trickness, have thequadshop put the elka ssd springs on them, sweet ride with this setup.

imo i would consdier OHLINS to be in the middleground between an axis/elka/pep and something like works. they are pretty decent in my book.

well i cant rember who i was talking to but the dales ohlins werent the highest quality ones but u can get better dual rates and are like peps or so i have heard:p

ohlins are good shocks i would recomend them

they are actualy bein installed on my kx as we speak, i cant wait:D

i ran an older set on my 400 b4 i went to LT and i like them, but far what i am doing i need a little bit better shock! so i went with PEP lt's. The ohlins were fine though and they worked great.:)

You can get them pretty cheap on ebay. My bro has them on his banshee and they are pretty good shocks IMO.
